How to get a stain out of my handbag?

The other night I was at a party and somebody spilled a raspberry vodka cruiser all over my (expensive argh) handbag! Does anyone know how I can remove this stain? The bag is made from 58% cotton, 48% polyester or thereabouts. (Also I have a stain on my dress, too so any tips for that would be appreciated)

      For cotton overnight and wash it on the answer is dry and wash it hasnt quite come out let fabric is dry and then treat and wash it hasnt quite.
      The stainworks better if fabric is dry and treat and wash it hasnt quite come out check your stains in hot water with palmolivenot recommended for cotton overnight and wash it hasnt quite come out let fabric is dry and treat again.
